This video focuses on a comparison between "flip-up" covers and Bikini stretch covers like those from Butler Creek. Recently, over the past two years or so, I've become steadily more found of removable covers because the improve the shooting experience for me while not handicapping me in any way with regards to practicality. This includes various hunting scenarios by the way, so I'm taking field conditions into consideration as well, not just "tailgate" shooting. I recently acquired two "Tini-Bikini" covers from Butler Creek and have placed them into application on two separate red-dot sights, which I'll be showing here. A slow paced video but I've wanted to get down some of my thought regarding these flip-up covers and whether or not their ideal for the majority of shooters.
